I love my sister kelly, and i especially love this picture of her from about the time i was born (that would be April 14 1975).
If Kelly were a riot grrrl or the glamorous courtney love i bet she would have used this picture on a record cover or seven inch, probably a seven inch |
Super Star circa '99
let's face it, when Lauren rebels and joins an all girl punk band this will be plastered across her first record
(see latest Elastica record 'the menace' for inspiration). Lauren is kelly's (see above) daughter, making her my lovely niece,
whom i also love. the picture is 'weird' and for that, my sister (see above) figured id appreciate it, because im weird i guess,
and she is not. but we're both from ohio and she is my sister so she should be nice

that dashing lad is me in my underwear. i used to stay up late to torture myself with Night Owl, a friday night horror marathon hosted by Fritz the Night Owl. id always conk out though and im guessing that's what's happening here.Fritz was sweet, he'd give a fritzy introduction to his friday night line up just like the old guys on AMC and TCM do these days, and i'd cringe in my underwear. the only real difference between those cable guys and fritz is that they're not cool and fritz was cool. he wore some big 'ol freaky 'owl' glasses that, if worn today, would make him a #total# hispster (see parents above). fritz was misunderstood. |

I feel that due to the possibly embarassing nature of what is now a notorious picture, i should say that once again, for the record, i love my sister. but c'mon, this is plain funny, and i'd be a selfish brat to not let the rest of the world join me in a giggle. this is for all the times kelly called me a piggy and/or butthole. |
Kitty circa '97
family is not restricted to that of the human variety (see above photo of grandma with pizza) so ive included kitty who is no longer with us. he's not dead, he's just with some other people somewhere that's not here, but IS in ohio. when matt and i were 'roommates' living in ohio this was our kitty. we loved the kitty and the kitty loved to be shaved. matt bailey no longer lives with me, but we remain best friends. roommates sometimes turn into friends after the roommate situation is no longer a roommate situation you know. he lives in wisconsin where cheese is eaten or made or something. he will probably hate that im linking his site here, so here it is |
